Mission
Raindancer Wild Bird Rescue is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of orphaned or injured birds of prey and the reintroduction of these birds to the wild. The organization is also committed to public outreach and education to promote conservation of species and habitats.
About Us
Raindancer Wild Bird Rescue was founded in October 2012 in Olympia, Washington. We specialize in the rehabilitation of birds of prey. Our facility consists of a clinic equipped with a triage and treatment area and kennels for housing recovering patients, outdoor flight conditioning enclosures, and outdoor enclosures for our education birds.
Raindancer Wild Bird Rescue's rehabilitator holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science. She is a member of the Washington Wildlife Rehabilitation Association, the National Wildlife Rehabilitator's Association, and the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council. She continues to further her wildlife rehabilitation education through workshops, symposia, and collaboration with other rehabilitators.
